Financing the Citadel experience.
The Citadel offers qualified freshmen a number of non-need based scholarships that take into account such criteria as high school GPA, SAT and ACT scores, extracurricular activities, and geographic location. More than 25 of these scholarships cover the full cost of attending. Winners of ROTC scholarships also receive supplemental college awards to help offset the cost of room and board. Significant numbers of scholarships, up to $5,500, are awarded annually as well.

The Citadel also participates in all federal financial aid programs which award funds to qualified students based upon demonstrated need. Students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) early in the spring semester to receive full consideration.

Do not let financial considerations deter you from rising to meet the challenge of The Citadel's extraordinary educational and leadership opportunities.
