Get Started Using DawgMail

Step One: Locate your Citadel email address
Most addresses follow the format of last name, first initial of the first name, and a number followed by our domain "@citadel.edu".

For example: John Doe's Citadel email address might be: doej2@citadel.edu

Find your address:

  • Use the People Search feature on The Citadel's Home page to locate your Citadel email address.
    Click here to open People Search in a new window.
    (This will allow you to continue following these steps without losing your place.)

  • Couldn't find it? If you've just enrolled in the past few days, your account may not be ready to use yet.
    New accounts import periodically at the beginning of each term and the day classes begin.
    If you've just enrolled, wait a day or two and retry.

    Accounts for incoming cadets are imported and ready to use prior to their arrival on campus.
