Concentrations offer students an opportunity to add depth and focus their program. To obtain a concentration, students augment their Basic Required and Advanced Required courses with courses that focus in a specific field.

Concentrations are offered in the following areas:
Health Care Administration
Students earn an MBA from The Citadel and a Certificate in Health Care Administration from MUSC.
- Complete required MBA core courses
- Apply for admission to MUSC program
- Take 5 courses at MUSC in lieu of Citadel MBA electives:
- Health Policy
- Health Care Delivery System
- Health Law
- Health Economics
- Financial Management for Health Care Organizations
- MUSC courses are on-line
- Two courses have a 2-weekend on-campus component

PharmD/MBA Program
Students earn a PharmD from MUSC and an MBA from The Citadel.
- Pharmacy students from MUSC apply for admission to The Citadel MBA program when they have earned 124 undergraduate hours.
- Students in the medical program at MUSC apply for admission to The Citadel MBA program
- Complete required MBA core courses
- Courses taken at MUSC count as electives in the MBA program

Students earn an MD from MUSC and an MBA from the Citadel.
- Students apply for admission to the dual degree program prior to enrollment in the MD program or at any time during the first three years of the MD program.
