Dr. Linda Elksnin:

Dr. Elksnin has presented and published in a variety of areas. She conducts research into social skills assessment and instruction along with other general assessment issues. Specifically, some of her work focuses on students with learning disabilities, with particular attention to career and vocational education and social skills instruction. Collaboration among professionals and with parents, use of the case method of instruction in teacher education programs and the teaching of learning strategies to students and instructional strategies to teachers are areas in which she has worked. Dr. Elksnin has also published on innovation and effective teaching practices at the college level.
