The world is the classroom
(13 SEP) Cadets Shane Kesting, Chris Morrow, Esteban Sierra and Richard McLaughlin work in the salt marsh behind Apron Island, near Folly Beach collecting periwinkle (Littoraria irrorata) density and size class distribution data. The research project with biology Professor Danny Gustafson examines periwinkle predators and the impact on cord grass and the salt marsh ecosystem.

Lost ring returned nearly 20 years later
(10 SEP) (View Article) Tony Clinton, ’85, doesn’t remember exactly how he lost his class ring – just that he did. Now what’s important is that nearly 20 years later he has his ring back thanks to a Hayesville, N.C., family who recently joined The Citadel family.
