VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Keep North Charleston Beautiful is only as strong as its volunteers. We need you to donate your talents to help us beautify North Charleston. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community. We have a volunteer opportunity for you no matter what your skills and interest. Please join us in making North Charleston a better place TODAY.
Join KNCB's PROGRAMS AND EVENTS COMMITTEE. You can help us plan and implement our beautification activities.
Become an EVENT VOLUNTEER. You can be placed on our contact list and be notified of our upcoming beautification activities. You can volunteer at any of the events that are convenient for you.
Volunteer in the OFFICE. You can volunteer to do clerical work in the Beautification office, such as managing databases. We need someone to volunteer in the office to make telephone calls and do work on the computer. This volunteer would also be a community liaison as people call or come in the office to pick up supplies or obtain information about our programs.
Be our WEBMASTER. We need someone to update and assist with the design of our webpage on a monthly basis.
Complete an INTERNSHIP. We need high school and college student who are interested interning in the Beautification office. These internships opportunities will include networking with City employees, planning and implementing beautification programs, working with volunteers, and many other exciting tasks.
Have a COMMUNITY CLEANUP OR BEAUTIFICATION EVENT on your own. We will help with your cleanup or beautification project by offering TRASH BAGS AND GLOVES and suggestions on having a safe and successful cleanup event. We will provide enough supplies for a group with up to 100 volunteers to hold one cleanup event one time per year.
