Adobe Acrobat ReaderThe Adobe Acrobat Reader is used to view PDF (Portable Document Format) files in a web browser (e.g., Netscape). PDF is becoming a de facto standard for viewing documents on the web. Many government agencies use it (such as the IRS for tax forms) and many software vendors are supplying their documentation in PDF. The Daniel Library computers and most of The Citadel lab computers are already configured to use Adobe Acrobat Reader To download the software for your personal computer, click the image below. If you need assistance, call ITS at 953-HELP(4357), and tell them that you need help downloading and configuring your browser to run Adobe Acrobat Reader.
