The mission of the Office of Construction Management is to insure that all new construction projects and major renovation projects including Permanent Improvement Projects (projects over $100,000.00 in total project cost) are executed in accordance with the Manual for Planning and Execution of State Permanent Improvement which is published by The Office of the State Engineer.
Recently completed construction projects include the Padgett Thomas Barracks Replacement, Law Barracks Replacement, the old Alumni House renovation (new Human Resources Center), the Citadel Infirmary Renovation and the Bell Tower Columbarium Project.
The Johnson Hagood Stadium West Stands / South Carolina National Guard Facility project is currently under construction and scheduled to be complete in August of 2008.
The Stevens Barracks renovation was started in April and scheduled to be completed in early August of 2008.
Current renovation projects include termite repairs on the roof of LeTellier
Hall and termite repairs on the second floor of Bond Hall.
