The Physical Plant is organized in three Divisions comprised of nine separate shops. The primary function of the Physical Plant is to provide maintenance and repair of the campus buildings, facilities and grounds. The Physical Plant has 86 employees devoted to performing these functions.
The Physical Plant is just one of three activities under the direction of the Vice President for Facilities and Construction. The other activities are Public Safety and Construction Management. Public Safety has the responsibility of safety and security for the campus.
Construction Management is responsible for all-new construction, major renovations and facility upgrades on the campus.
