What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an easy way to get the Citadel
news you want, whenever it is updated,
without visiting The Citadel's web site.
The Citadel provides continually updated headline feeds
and delivers them directly to your desktop news reader.
What Citadel RSS feeds are available?
The Citadel currently offers two RSS feeds on an experimental basis.
Keep checking this page as we will update it with the latest feeds we make available.

How can I use RSS?
There are several ways to access RSS feeds.
You can (1) install an RSS news reader that displays RSS feeds from the web sites you select,
(2) incorporate Citadel news directly into your own blog, or
(3) any other purpose (so long as it meets our terms of use; see below).
Here we will focus on RSS news readers.
An RSS news reader serves as an information portal,
and provides a real-time interface to the feeds you select.
Once your RSS news reader is set up to access The Citadel,
it will continually poll the The Citadel RSS feeds for the latest headlines.
Popular free RSS news readers in 2005 include
Firefox,
Netscape,
RSS Bandit,
and
Bloglines,
but this field of technology is changing so rapidly that you are
advised to search the web for alternative products as well.

(Internet Explorer is expected to have RSS news reader
