Hussein Abdoh, PhD, CFA, is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Baker School of Business. Before joining The Citadel, he taught finance courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the United Arab Emirates. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at El Paso and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Jordan.
Hussein’s teaching experience includes a variety of courses such as Financial Management, Investments, Derivatives Securities, International Finance and Banking, Portfolio Analysis, Corporate Finance, Risk Management, and Financial Statement Analysis.
In the realm of research, Hussein covers diverse areas, including Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Investments, Energy Economics, Behavioral Finance, and Islamic Finance. His work has been published in recognized journals, including but not limited to the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, Financial Review, Energy Economics, Journal of Commodity Markets, Agricultural Economics, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Global Finance, among others.
