Advising Facilitators
The Advising Facilitator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the advising experience for students and advisors at The Citadel. The Advising Facilitator serves as the school’s advising expert, is responsible for planning and attending the annual Advising Summit and sharing insights and strategies back to their respective schools. By acting as a key communicator between advisors and the Director of Advising, the Advising Facilitator will help establish a collaborative advising model that supports student engagement and success, decreasing the transactional advising burden and increasing developmental outcomes.
Advising Resources
Academic MAPs are a suggested four-year schedule of courses based on degree requirements detailed in the Undergraduate Catalog that contains the following information: core requirements, major requirements, and cadet requirements. MAPs serve as a general guideline to help build a full schedule each term, but they are not a substitute for academic advising. All students MUST meet with their advisor each semester prior to registering for classes.
Grade Point Average (GPA) is a crucial indicator of academic performance, reflecting the average of grades across all courses taken. Whether planning for the current semester or tracking overall academic progress, our GPA calculator can help estimate future standings.
