Sergeant Major Jaime McIntyre originally hails from Queens, New York. He graduated from Holy Cross High School in Flushing, NY. He attended St. John’s University from 1998-2000. SGM McIntyre enlisted in the Army on January 29, 2001, and completed Basic Training and AIT at Fort Sill, Oklahoma where he earned the Military Occupational Specialty 13D-Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System Specialist.
SGM McIntyre was initially assigned to 3/6 Field Artillery, at Fort Drum, NY. While assigned to 3/6 FA he attended the Air Assault Course where he earned the Air Assault Badge and deployed to Kosovo in 2001 serving as the Alpha Battery 3/6 FA AFATDS Operator. While assigned to the 3/6 FA he deployed to Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003 as the A Battery Fire Control Sergeant. Upon return, he attended the Equal Opportunity Leaders Course in 2004. In 2005, he was a part of the 3/25 combat team standup and was later assigned to 4/25 Field Artillery. He deployed with this unit to Afghanistan in 2007 as the Chief Fire Control Sergeant and again in 2009 as the Battalion Chief Fire Control Sergeant. In between deployments, SGM McIntyre attended the Master Gunner School and attained the A7 ASI. In 2010, he was assigned to Camp Shelby, MS as an OC/T. In that same year, SGM McIntyre attended the Advanced Leadership Course and graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate. In 2011, he volunteered to deploy again to Afghanistan where he served as an OC/T for the Afghanistan National Army as an SLC instructor for the ANA NCO Academy. In 2012, he attended the Senior Leadership Course and graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate. In 2013, SGM McIntyre was assigned to 4/25 FA in Fort Drum, NY where he served as that units Operation Sergeant and Master Gunner. During that year he graduated from the Army Battle Staff Course, deployed for a fourth time to Afghanistan as the Operations Sergeant for the 4/25 FA. In 2015, he inactivated 4/25 FA and assisted in Standing up 10th Mountain Division DIVARTY. While serving with this unit he was assigned as the Operations Sergeant Major. In 2016, he was selected and served as the 13/D/T/W/J Branch Manager/Professional Development NCO. In 2018, SGM McIntyre was assigned to Camp Casey, Korea. Her served as the Alpha Battery 6-37 FAR 1SG. In 2019, he was selected to serve as the HHB, 2100 Field Artillery Brigade 1SG. In 2020, SGM McIntyre served as the Senior Military Science Instructor for 2D BDE, ROTC out of Saint Bonaventure University, NY. In that same year he graduated from Master Educator Course. In 2022, SGM McIntyre graduated from Sergeant Major Academy and was assigned to USARCENT at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. In August 2023, he was selected as The Field Artillery Chief Military Science Instructor for The Citadel.
SGM McIntyre’s military education includes Battle Staff, Equal Opportunity Course, SHARP Course, Master Educator Course, Sergeant Major Course, Senior Leaders Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Advanced Leaders Course (Distinguished Honor Graduate), Basic Leaders Course, Combative Course, and the Air Assault Course.

SGM McIntyre is single father of two daughters, Jessie, 14 and Kamryn, 12.
