Background
With an extensive background in banking, construction, hospital administration, charitable fundraising and more than 60 years of civic involvement, Colonel Fulghum has provided extensive knowledge, business acumen and a wide range of expertise in several fields during his tenure as a member of The Citadel’s governing Board.
In addition to his more than 24 years of service to the Board of Visitors, Colonel Fulghum headed up the negotiations to acquire the property for the John Monroe Holliday Alumni Center, the acquisition of College Park, and the building of the Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park, home of Citadel baseball.
