MASS NOTIFICATION

All campus users with citadel.edu email accounts are automatically registered for Bulldog Alert emails. The entire Citadel community is strongly encouraged to download the mobile app and select “Cadets-Students-Faculty-Staff SMS” in the ”Notifications” menu to access all capabilities of the app, including text and app notifications.

Users with non-Citadel emails should select “Friends-Family SMS” in the “Notifications” menu to receive alert notifications.

Citadel-issued computers in offices and classrooms with the desktop app (a red “911” in the taskbar) can also receive mass notifications.

The Citadel also maintains an on-campus siren and audio system for outdoor areas.

Current and new users of Bulldog Alert must download the Mobile Application to continue SMS and App Notification messaging.
