The Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business Scholars Program
The Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business Scholars Program is an exciting opportunity for talented students who are interested in business, management, sales, supply-chain management/logistics, entrepreneurship, operations, accounting, finance and related fields.
Scholarship Funding
Business Scholars are a carefully selected cohort of future business professionals. All students admitted as Business Scholars will receive a scholarship of $2,500 per academic year, for a total of $10,000 over four years. Additional need-based scholarships are offered to students based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA). For consideration, students should apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov any time after October 1st of each year.
Student Activities
Scholars will receive special benefits to help in their educational and career development, such as unique networking opportunities, study abroad activities, scholarships, and counseling/guidance to obtain internships and jobs. Business Scholars will work as members of a specialized cohort with opportunities for individually-tailored independent studies, experiential learning and interactions with top-line area business organizations in the Charleston area.
The Citadel will set aside funds for Business Scholars to participate in an array of experiential learning, internships, civic engagement and study away (domestic and abroad) activities throughout the four-year academic time period.
Requirements
- Strong admission profile. The review panel will consider incoming GPA, test scores and extracurricular activities.
- Written essay. The review panel will assess the written essay submitted as part of the review process.
