Dr. Gerald Auger is passionate about information security, and he enjoys contributing to the development and maturation of organizational information security programs. Having worked within the information technology space since 2005 with a focus on information security and compliance in 2008, Dr. Auger takes a realistic approach to his work and has experience leveraging multiple privacy and risk management frameworks to assist organizations reduce risk and improve security with respect to quality, cost and schedule.
Dr. Auger earned his PhD in Cyber Operations from Dakota State University, Madison, SD in addition to a bevy of industry certifications including CISSP – (ISC)2 Certified Information System Security Professional 8/2009 | LIC#344804, HCISPP – (ISC)2 HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioners 7/2017 | LIC#344804, CISM – ISACA Certified Information Security Manager 9/2013 LIC# 1323801, CISA – ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor 6/2014 LIC# 14117435, ITIL Foundation – ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management 12/2017, Scrum Master – Scrum Alliance, 3/2012 | LIC# 183448, and two Master’s in relevant disciplines: M.S.
