Marquita Frazier was born in Columbia, SC, but her blood bleeds orange. She is a proud graduate of Clemson University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in 2013. She began her master’s program directly after and graduated in 2015 with a Master of Science in Information Systems from DePaul University. She continued on to begin her doctoral program at Nova Southeastern University, where she is still a current PhD student majoring in Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security.
After graduating from Clemson, Marquita began her career with the United States Federal Government as a Consultant/Business Analyst with CGI Federal. She worked with CGI Federal and supported the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the U.S. Department of State for three years. Marquita is currently a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton (formerly SPARC) and supports the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). She enjoys working in the Agile environment where her day to day tasks include daily scrum testing, regression testing, and end to end testing across multiple applications.
Outside of establishing a career and completing school, Marquita is very proud of the chance to be a mom to her son Marshawn and daughter Markia. Her children are her motivation and reason to achieve a high level of success.
