Level Up with the Online Cyber Studies Certification
The Citadel’s Cyber Studies Graduate Certificate.
In today’s digital landscape, there is a pressing national security need for increased cybersecurity knowledge among all citizens. The Citadel has established itself as a nationally recognized leader in cybersecurity education through its various academic programs. Traditionally, our graduate certificate program in cybersecurity required an extensive technical background for acceptance, which limited access to those eager to learn the essentials of cybersecurity, cyber risk assessment, cyber investigation, cyber policy and cyber ethics. To address this gap, The Citadel is introducing the Cyber Studies Graduate Certificate, with 8-week courses.
Flexible and Accessible Cyber Education for All
The Cyber Studies Graduate Certificate at The Citadel offers a valuable opportunity for both new and current graduate students in fields such as Project Management, Intelligence and Security Studies, Business Administration, Engineering and more. This interdisciplinary program is designed to complement and enhance existing studies, requiring no prior technical knowledge.
The program now features 8-week courses, allowing students to start their studies in the Fall, Spring or Summer 1st 8-week term, offering flexibility for working professionals.
Classes are offered fully online, making it accessible to a broad audience. Comprising four courses (12 credit hours), the program is designed to:
- Equip you with the essential cyber skills needed across different domains to enhance career opportunities.
- Explore the foundations of cybersecurity and cyber risk assessment to tackle challenges in our evolving cyberspace.
- Analyze cyber law, policy, and ethics to aid in the decision-making process for managing cyber incidents.
Program Objectives
- To offer an interdisciplinary cyber education to a wide range of graduate students from diverse backgrounds
