Best Practices in Assessments provides an overview of theoretical models and practical strategies for assessment in online courses. After engaging in a discussion of online assessment practices, participants will discuss ways to align assessments with course and module objectives. The interface of the Canvas gradebook will also be explored from the instructor and student perspectives. Participants will experience SpeedGrader and how it can be used to provide timely and detailed feedback for students while making the grading process more efficient and enjoyable.
