Bio:
Dr Dung T. Do earned his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed new reactions to prepare molecules with structural diversity.
Dr. Do teaches General Chem and Organic Chem lectures and the associate labs. He enjoys interacting with students in both the classroom and during extensive office hours. While he is on Campus, his office is always open so students can stop by with questions at any time.
Dr Do’s primary research interests include developing new chemical strategies that can rapidly assemble complex small molecules with potential biological activities as well as identifying the vast array of molecular architectures found in nature as inspiration for the development of new synthetic strategies and methodologies.
Dr. Do enjoys working with undergraduate students in various research projects and sharing his knowledge of chemistry along the way. If you would like to talk about chemistry, want to discuss research opportunities, just drop by his office and have a chat with Dr. Do. He is always looking for new students interested in research.
