Teaching at The Citadel since 2002, Dr. Bevsek is an researcher, advisor and devoted member of the faculty. She serves on several different boards including At-Large Division of the Council on Undergraduate Research, and the General Education Review Committee, but also is an affiliate of American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Chemical Society, and the Council on Undergraduate Research. Further, she’s been a select speaker on several occasions for National Meeting of the American Chemical Society where she’s most recently spoken about reactions with pyrite. Further, she is the author of several publications, and her most recent publication is entitled, “Utilizing Problem Based Learning in Qualitative Analysis Lab Experiments” which is co-authored with Randall W. Hicks. She is currently an Associate Professor at The Citadel’s Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics.
