The Center for International and Special Programs (CISP)
The Citadel’s Center for International and Special Programs (CISP) works to broaden students’ academic, leadership, social, and personal development during their time at The Citadel through study abroad, competitive scholarships and fellowships, and other special programs.
The Global Scholars Program is a new initiative to make semesters abroad feasible for all cadets at The Citadel. The program offers cadets enrolled in nearly every academic major the opportunity to spend a semester abroad, taking courses relevant to their majors, while paying nearly the same amount for all study abroad costs as they would pay for a semester of study at The Citadel.
The Citadel in DC Program is a semester-long domestic program in Washington, D.C. with an internship component for Political Science and Intelligence and Security Studies majors. At the start of each semester, students will be living in Washington Intern Student Housing, interning at various locations around the city and experiential learning about DC through interdisciplinary coursework.
