The mission of Dr. Emmett I. Davis, Jr., ’50, Department of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering is to provide a nationally recognized student-centered learning environment for the development of principled leaders in the civil and environmental engineering community through a broad-based, rigorous curriculum, emphasizing theoretical and practical engineering concepts, strong professional values, and a disciplined work ethic.
