Transition to The Citadel: “2+2” Programs
The “2+2” Transfer Programs allow you to complete your first two years at an accredited college or university, earning an associate’s degree. You can then transfer those credits to The Citadel for the final two years to complete your nursing or engineering bachelor’s degree in a civilian environment through our evening on-campus program. Please note that transferable credits are subject to approval by the Registrar.

General Education Requirements
Students are required to complete all general education courses before taking upper-level classes at The Citadel for the Nursing and Engineering programs.
Personalized Advising and Resources
Upon Admission, you will work closely with your advisor to plan your schedule so that it fits your needs and meets the course requirements. As a student at The Citadel, you will take courses in the evening or online in a civilian environment. 2+2 Transfer Program students have full access to all of the student and academic resources that The Citadel offers to help you complete your degree. Some of the available student resources include the Student Success Center, the Career Center and the Public Speaking Lab.
