The physical demands at The Citadel require our students to be healthy. If incoming cadets are unable to meet the standards, it will be difficult for them to be successful in the program. Please note that cadets who are on ROTC scholarships risk losing their scholarship if they are unable to meet fitness and weight standards. If you want to know where you place in the height and weight requirements, please visit the Male Height and Weight Requirements page. Health and fitness are major part of the experience at The Citadel.
