Kathy Millard is the Administrative Officer of The Citadel Distinguished Scholars Program. She graduated from The University of Akron with a Business Administration degree. She started her first career with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in Cleveland, Ohio in the Human Resources field. A job transfer took her to Columbus, Ohio, to continue her career at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. She worked for over 26 years with DLA and retired. Her second career was at The Ohio State University at the Newark Regional Campus. She worked for 14 years in the Admissions Office in the role of Admissions Office Operation Coordinator and retired for a second time. She has a passion working in higher education and helping students further their education. In her spare time, you may find her reading, traveling, or walking along a beach.
