Dr. Begoña Vilouta-Vázquez

Dr. Vilouta-Vázquez earned her B.A. in English as well as a Teaching Certificate from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain. She afterwards pursued graduate work in Kansas, earning an M.A. in English from the University of Kansas and later on a Ph. D. in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Her areas of specialization are postcolonial studies, trauma studies, and the repercussions of whiteness ideology.
