Dr. Glen Wood
Assistant Professor
Glen Wood is an Assistant Professor of Communications, Media, and Film. His research is directed towards critical perspectives of mediation in cultural practice and non-fiction film. These efforts include analyzing the interplay between dominant and alternative uses of media, as well as the relationship between imitation and innovation in the production of media. His work has been published in the Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Literature/Film Quarterly, as well as a volume on subcultures by Palgrave Macmillan. He holds a Ph.D. in Cinema and Media Studies from York University, Toronto.
