To hone communication skills and earn crucial professional experience, students in the English department may participate in an internship. These internships vary based upon student interests, and range from placements in fields as diverse as law, public relations, business, health, non-profit charity, and theology, among others. For the work performed, students will earn not only work experience but course credit by enrolling in ENGL 499. Students may repeat ENGL 499 once.
