The Faculty Senate adopted the following standing committee structure at their February 16, 2016 meeting. Some of the standing committees are unchanged from the former structure under Faculty Council, some committees have been combined, and some committees are new. Later on, the Faculty Excellence committee split into two separate committees: Faculty Awards and Sabbaticals. The current standing committees of the Faculty Senate are:
