Andrew is a Senior on Second Battalion Staff, serving as Battalion Commander. He comes from Oregon, Wisconsin, and grew up in an Air Force family. His father was the Commander of Salute Gun Battery for the class of 1990. Last year, Andrew served as the Fifth Battalion Sergeant Major. This is his third year on the editorial team, with him holding the role of Assistant Editor-in-Chief last year. Andrew is a Political Science, German, and History triple major and pursues a minor in Economics. He is a four year Air Force Scholarship recipient. Andrew spent last summer researching the Bosnian and Rwandan genocides and attending the Oxford Study Abroad program where he researched the strategic uses of the work “genocide”. Andrew previously served as the Parliamentary Fellow in the Fall of 2022, where he worked for two members of Parliament in London and for a think tank that encourages the free market worldwide. Andrew hopes to pursue a graduate scholarship after The Citadel before flying the C-17 for the Air Force.
