In honor of the Twentieth Anniversary, the editors and advisor of The Gold Star Journal hosted the first Gold Star Journal Lecture. It immediately became an annual event, which occurs shortly after Corps Day. In 2020, the editors renamed the lecture The Gold Star Journal Academic Conference (GSJAC).
Annually, the featured speakers are the authors, whose papers appear in the newly published journal. The lecture demonstrates the leadership of the editors, the scholarship of the authors, and the creativity of the photographers. The event is truly Scholarship at Its Best!
