Dr. Mabrouk is an organic chemistry professor with a passion for teaching chemistry, the growth mindset, and publishing. She is an organic chemist. She is the faculty adviser and founder of The Gold Star Journal. She enjoys working with the editors of The Gold Star Journal each year. Dr. Mabrouk relaxes by cutting fretwork and animal puzzles on the scroll saw, making soap and toiletries, turning wood on the lathe, cooking, and reading.
