Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance
Tim Bott is an Associate Professor of Health and Human Performance in the Swain Family School of Science and Math at The Citadel. He is also the program coordinator for the undergraduate and graduate level Physical Education and Coaching programs. Dr. Bott teaches a wide array of physical education pedagogy courses as well as motor development and motor learning at the graduate level. His research interest is focused on understanding the relationship between skillfulness and the motivation to be physically active and achieving valued health outcomes such as healthy weight status. He has been involved in a variety of physical education advocacy efforts and previously served as the President of the South Carolina Association for Physical Education and Sport.
