Phi Alpha Theta
Successful undergraduate history majors and graduate students are invited every spring to join the Citadel chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, an international honor society for history students. Current cadet Phi Alpha Theta members may choose to operate as a club, with activities (including field trips). They may also make presentations of research at the annual Phi Alpha Theta conference.

The Citadel College Democrats
The Citadel College Democrats (CCD) is a student-led club focused on community engagement and education. Whether it is knocking on doors, meeting legislators, or welcoming speakers, the CCD works hard to provide new and meaningful experiences to its members. Within the first semester of existence, cadets have volunteered at the Charleston Pride Parade, met Gubernatorial candidates and canvassed in local neighborhoods. The CCD envisions advocating for sensible campus policy, leading campaign efforts, and continuing its opportunity-based approach. We welcome cadets, staff, and faculty from all walks of life and ideologies, and look forward to helping The Citadel develop well-rounded cadets.
