The members of the Honors Program are exceptional students who are intellectually curious and courageous, wanting to put their knowledge to use to benefit their communities. The mission of the Program is to offer a challenging education grounded in critical and creative thinking, and problem solving. Honors Program students leave The Citadel with the capacity to understand and confront major challenges as they affirmatively and skillfully engage with diverse social, cultural, scientific, and philosophical perspectives.
