Adam Udvig
Parsons Corporation
Adam Udvig is a distinguished intelligence professional with over 27 years of experience in active collection and training in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), and interrogation operations. He currently serves as the Director of Training at Parsons Corporation, Defense & Intelligence, Technical Operations Group.
Adam’s career began in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was qualified as a Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) specialist and Russian Cryptologic Linguist. He supervised numerous Military Source Operations (MSO) sources and oversaw interrogation operations in Fallujah, Iraq. Adam’s deployment history includes missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), as well as deployments to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, and Cuba. He also conducted SIGINT collection missions, including one with the 31st MEU out of Okinawa, Japan, and classified missions for the NSA.
Transitioning to a civilian role, Adam served at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) as a DoD Counterintelligence Special Agent and Deputy Section Lead at the Joint Counterintelligence Training Activity (JCITA). He also served as Course Chair for various CI courses, including CI Collections in a Cyber Environment and Source Ops in a Cyber Environment Seminar.
As a graduate of the Russian and Arabic courses at the Defense Language Institute, Adam has contributed to the development of the Tactical Debriefer Course at NMITC, Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Leaving civilian service, he joined the White Canvas Group, which later became BlackHorse Solutions (later acquired by Parsons Corporation), to shape OSINT and PAI for Intelligence and Operations personnel throughout the DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC).
Adam is highly regarded for his leadership, mentoring, and project management skills. He is frequently sought out as a CI/HUMINT and cyber integration subject matter expertise. His numerous awards testify to his exceptional achievements in both the CI/HUMINT and SIGINT arenas. At Parsons, he continues to fuse the team’s vast skills and operational experience into leading tradecraft training, tool evaluations, and evolving methodologies to meet mission-specific customer OSINT/PAI needs.
