Trisse Hollis Kozick
Drug Enforcement Administration
Originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, Trisse Hollis-Kozick is an Intelligence Research Specialist assigned to the Charleston Resident Office of the Drug Enforcement Administration. Since 1999, Mrs. Hollis-Kozick has worked in Charleston as part of a DEA Task Force comprised of federal agents from DEA and ICE, and state and local task force officers representing multiple law enforcement agencies across the Lowcountry counties of the state. Mrs. Hollis-Kozick is the sole Intelligence Specialist supporting DEA in the Lowcountry Area of Responsibility, and one of only three DEA Intelligence Specialists in the state of South Carolina.
Prior to 1999, Mrs. Hollis-Kozick worked as an Intelligence Research Specialist assigned to the Atlanta Field Division, where she worked for the HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) Program under the leadership of DEA Special Agent Steve Murphy (infamous for his role in the takedown of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and subject of the popular Netflix series “Narcos”). While assigned to the DEA Atlanta Division Office, Mrs. Hollis-Kozick also worked as Program Analyst, authoring the Field Management Plan for the entire Atlanta Division, which at that time encompassed the states of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Prior to her Atlanta assignment, Mrs. Hollis-Kozick worked at DEA Headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, as a Management/Program Analyst.
Mrs. Hollis-Kozick received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Winthrop University in 1995 and a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) from the College of Charleston/University of South Carolina in 1997. Mrs. Hollis-Kozick was hired as a Presidential Management Intern (PMI) with the DEA Office of Financial and Resource Management.
