Multimedia-Equipped Rooms on Campus
What is a multimedia-equipped room?
There are a variety of rooms on campus containing multimedia equipment – classrooms, auditoriums, meeting/conference rooms, breakout spaces, etc. A basic setup for all of these spaces should include a computer, a projection system, and a sound system. Some learning spaces may also contain a document camera, an interactive display, web conferencing capabilities, or classroom capture. Some meeting/conference rooms may also contain web conferencing capabilities. If you would like to know more about one of these spaces, please email Multimedia Services to schedule a room briefing.
Multimedia Learning Spaces on Campus
There are many multimedia classrooms and auditoriums on campus, but the Bond 165 auditorium is the ONLY room that is maintained by Multimedia Services. To schedule Bond 165, please use EMS to request a reservation. You can also use EMS to reserve other rooms on campus. The link to the EMS system is located on the “Campus Life” tab in Lesesne Gateway.
If you are planning on using Bond 165:
- You may only use the auditorium during the time reserved.
- A mandatory room briefing is required before keys to the auditorium will be issued.
- Keys are issued to faculty and staff members; students will not be issued keys.
- Students are required to be supervised at all times by a faculty or staff member while in the auditorium.
- Any damages or misuse of the equipment or auditorium should be reported to Multimedia Services.
- Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.
- Tobacco products are not allowed in the auditorium.
- When finished in auditorium, the computer and the room system should be shut down.
