Bio
Dr. Namporn Thanetsunthorn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship in the Baker School of Business at The Citadel. Her research and teaching interests are in the areas of organizational behavior and development, leadership, business ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and cross-cultural management.
Dr. Thanetsunthorn’s research has been published in journals such as Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, Management Research Review, Organization Development Journal, Review of International Business and Strategy, Global Business Review, and others. Her work has also been recognized with awards from several prestigious conferences, including the Academy of Management, the Eastern Academy of Management, and the Midwest Academy of Management.
Currently, Dr. Thanetsunthorn holds various leadership positions in academic organizations. These include being an Associate Editor for Spring Nature (SN) Business and Economics, an Editorial Board Member for Journal of Management Theory and Practice, and a Board Member of the Midwest Academy of Management.
Prior to joining The Citadel, Dr. Thanetsunthorn served as an Assistant Professor of Management at Pennsylvania State University and the State University of New York. In addition, Dr. Thanetsunthorn has extensive experience teaching military students for both the Royal Thai Army and the National Defence College of Thailand.
