Bio
Dr. Michael Weeks is the Dean and Robert A. Jolley Chair of Business Administration for the Tommy and Victoria Baker School of Business and a professor of management. His teaching interests include strategy, leadership, and innovation management. His scholarly research includes numerous articles on topics of technology management and leadership in journals such as the California Management Review, the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, the International Journal of Innovation Management, and the International Journal of Selection and Assessment.
Dr. Weeks has consulted for companies in a variety of industries and serves on the Board of Directors for Hendry Marine Industries in Tampa, FL. Additionally, he served for over 20 years as an officer in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As a pilot, he has over 3500 hours in the C-141, T-38, T-3, and T-37 aircraft. He also served two tours as an instructor at the United States Air Force Academy. He holds the FAA multi-engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
Dr. Weeks earned Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. He also holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degrees from Auburn University.
