Accept or Decline Your Admissions Offer
Following your acceptance, an email regarding a “Status Update” was sent to the email address you provided on your application.
Click on “Cadet Reply to Offer of Admission” and select accept or decline.
Accepting your offer of admission will move you to the next step in the admissions process:
- Accept Offer of Admission
- Pay Enrollment Deposit
- Following receipt of enrollment deposit, an email from the MUSC Health Clinic at The Citadel will be sent with instructions to complete the medical clearance requirements
- Continue to check your Status page and complete the items in the checklist
Please note: if you do not click and submit “Accept Offer,” you will not be able to pay the enrollment deposit. In addition, medical clearance information will not be sent until the deposit has been paid.
Prepare for Matriculation Day
Welcome to The Citadel Class of 2029! It’s time to get ready for Matriculation Day.
Medical Clearance
7-10 business days after paying your deposit, be on the lookout for a MyChart Sign Up email from MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina). This will be sent to the email provided on your Citadel Application and will arrive within a week of submitting your deposit.
• All Students must be cleared by MUSC Heath at The Citadel by July 1st. For specific information regarding your medical clearance, please contact Citadel@MUSC.edu or (843)953-4827.
Proof of Legal Presence
• The state of South Carolina requires all state colleges and universities to verify each student’s legal presence in the United States.
Please provide a copy of one of the following:
–U.S. Birth Certificate, Real ID, Visa, Passport or SC Driver’s License
• Please email to admissions@citadel.edu or use this secure upload link by July 1st.
Official Final High School Transcript
• Must be submitted directly by your high school or home school association. To be official it must contain a graduation date, senior year grades and your school seal or official signature.
• Schools can upload to Common App, email to admissions@citadel.edu or send with an online transcript service. This must be submitted by July 1st if your school will not have yours completed by that date please contact The Citadel Office of admissions: admissions@citadel.edu or (843)953-5230.
• Transfer Students Only: Official Final college transcript is due by July 1st.
