Maximize your Graduate Education with a Concurrent Degrees
At The Citadel, students have the opportunity to pursue another degree while earning their MBA. By enrolling in both programs at the same time, a student is able to minimize time spent and cost, as courses are used towards both programs. Graduates of both programs will have the credentials to set themselves apart from the competition. Presently, two graduate concurrent degree programs are offered: PharmD and TPM.
PharmD / MBA
Students may earn their MBA and Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees simultaneously. This is done through The Citadel’s partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). This program meets the need for pharmacists to understand general business principles in addition to direct patient care activities. Getting both degrees is highly desirable for persons seeking careers in institutional practice settings, the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy benefit management organizations, and academia.
TPM / MBA
An MBA and Technical Project Management (TPM) Certificate may be earned simultaneously between the Schools of Business and Engineering. To build this into your course of study, a student’s elective courses are revised to cover the program of choice’s requirements. The Technical Project Management Certificate adheres to the industry standard, PMBOK. MBA students can elect to take two of the TPM courses as electives. Students must receive admission to both the MBA and TPM program prior to registration.
