Bio
Dr. Nathan Washuta earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, where he studied flow in the turbulent boundary layer that occurs along the hulls of large naval ships. His current research interests include Hydrodynamics, Turbulence, Experimental Methods, Optical Measurement Techniques, and Image Processing. Dr. Washuta teaches introductory through upper-level undergraduate mechanical and electrical engineering courses primarily in the areas of thermal/fluids and computer applications.
