Dr. Hannah Sullivan is an Adjunct Professor of Spanish. She has worked with students from elementary through the college-level over the course of her career, and she is passionate about creating engaging and interactive classrooms where students enjoy the learning process. Dr. Sullivan began her own Spanish studies in high school and found a love for the language during trips to Honduras. She still loves travelling and introducing students to other cultures.
Dr. Sullivan’s research and professional interests include language teaching pedagogy, micropolitical literacy, and teacher induction. Before moving to South Carolina, she served as the Language Department Chair at an independent school in central Alabama. In 2019, Dr. Sullivan was named the Alabama World Language Association’s Teacher of the Year.
