Alba Ortiz native from Bogotá, Colombia. She studied Philology and languages English and French; she received her Master’s Degree in Spanish Language and Culture as well as a Graduate Certificate in Spanish Translation (English – Spanish Spanish- English).

As a professor, Ms. Ortiz taught at CCN (Community College of Southern Nevada) and UNLV (University of Nevada Las Vegas) as Spanish Instructor.

She has a vast experience teaching nationally and internationally, that also includes being a Mentor and offering PD for teachers to improve best practices.

Her interests include learning, traveling, going to conferences and trainings, playing golf, art and design.
