The work order system and work order processing have been refined and continuing improvements are being made. These improvements will have a beneficial impact on our ability to deliver dependable and quality services.
Work order is a term frequently used in the facilities industry. It transforms a request for service into an action document for evaluating and completing the requested work. Work orders at the Physical Plant are created in a web-based work order system known as WebTMA. This system is used to track the progress of work orders from “customer request” through completion.
When placing a work request, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your NAME.
- Your TELEPHONE NUMBER.
- Your E-MAIL ADDRESS
- BUILDING NAME (ex. “Dunneman Apartment Building”)
- FLOOR (ex. “BLDG name – 1st Floor”)
- ROOM #
- A description of your request in sufficient detail (ACTION REQUESTED). PLEASE PROVIDE ACCOUNT/INDEX NUMBER(S) when applicable to the work to be performed.
You will receive status updates on your work request via e-mail. If you have questions regarding the status of your request, please have the work order number (CIT-#######) on hand when you call. This will be included in the second e-mail you receive when you place your request.
If you have difficulty accessing the system please contact Rhonda Tucker (rtucker5@citadel.edu, 953-1612) for assistance.
Please, be aware that F&E will not deliver or assemble NEW office furniture. This includes, but is not limited to, desks, bookcases, chairs, filing cabinets, etc.
F&E is available during office moves and renovations to remove office furniture from an office, or move furniture from one office to another. Please include an account number on your request when requesting furniture moves.
