School of Engineering secures $1 million grant for AI healthcare research
In an exciting collaboration with colleges from around the state, The Citadel School of Engineering has been awarded a $1 million National Science Foundation grant over a five-year period to fund the new Center for Artificial Intelligence, Algorithmic Integrity and Autonomy Innovation. Through AI3, faculty advance AI-enabled medical devices and train an AI-ready workforce. School of Engineering Dean Andrew Williams, Ph.D. will serve as director of AI3 at The Citadel. South Carolina college and universities collaborating in the project:
