From The Citadel to the Royal Military College of Canada
When Cadet Sam Wilson walked into the mess hall at the Royal Military College of Canada on his first day, he was surprised to discover everyone wearing civilian clothes. Wilson, a junior from Carlisle, Iowa, majoring in English and history with minors in international criminal justice and war studies, was at the Canadian military college on a Killam Fellowship, a Canadian-U.S. exchange program sponsored by Fulbright Canada.
In the semester-long exchange, Wilson explored the differences between The Citadel and the Royal Military College for an academic paper, and he took advantage of other opportunities, like hiking in Banff National Park. To learn more about Wilson’s journey, read the account he wrote for The Citadel Today.
